Timbabuild® Timbaglaze by Chemfix is the world’s only genuine all-weather multi-purpose glazing sealant, offering a modern, high-performance alternative to traditional window putty. Formulated as a single-component hybrid polymer, Timbaglaze is suitable for both internal and external glazing applications, including those on wet or damp substrates.
Engineered for use with any type of glazing unit, Timbaglaze adheres to a wide variety of surfaces—even wet or non-porous ones—without causing corrosion on metals. Its strong, flexible bond delivers excellent vibration dampening and noise reduction, while remaining UV- and weather-resistant for long-term durability.
Timbaglaze is paintable within just one hour (skins over in approximately 20 minutes), does not shrink during curing, and contains no hazardous substances—making it safe for indoor use. It offers outstanding slump resistance, allowing clean, precise application on vertical or overhead surfaces without sagging.
Designed for both new installations and restoration projects, Timbaglaze is a permanent, superior replacement for traditional glazing putty, and is frequently used in heritage restoration, including listed buildings. It can be used alongside Butyl tapes and hot melt adhesives in double-glazed units.
